Job Summary
The Leasing Officer (Tenant Acquisition) is responsible for attracting, engaging, and securing tenants for our rental spaces. This role focuses on maximizing occupancy, minimizing vacancies, and creating lasting partnerships with tenants. This also involves marketing properties, conducting tenant screenings, and finalizing lease agreements while ensuring excellent tenant experience.
Qualifications
- Sales and Negotiations Skills
- Analytical Skill for decision-making
- Experience in Sales and Leasing
- Strong understanding of Tenant Relations, Leasing, and Sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

- Market Research and Targeting – Analyze market trends, rental rates, and tenant demand. Identify target tenant profiles based on location, property features, and demographics.
- Property Preparation – Ensure properties are well-maintained with necessary repairs and upgrades to highlight unique features and appeal to prospective tenants.
- Marketing and Advertising – Create engaging online listings with high-quality visuals and detailed descriptions. Utilize social media, local advertisements, and referral programs to reach potential tenants.
- Tenant Screening – Collect and review rental applications, including background and credit checks. Interview prospective tenants to assess their suitability.
- Property Showings – Schedule and conduct property tours (in-person or virtual) and highlight key selling points such as location, amenities, and unique features.
- Negotiating Lease Terms – Set competitive rental rates based on market research. Negotiate terms to meet tenant needs while ensuring profitability.
